This is our first time in Sri Lanka and from the moment we came to this hostel, we were taken very well care of. Great service, no problem-attitude, fixes cheap transportation, clean rooms and a relaxing and warm atmosphere. Less than 5 minute TukTuk away from town. Highly recommend coming here - families, solo, friends. 

The staff was truly the best part of our experience.

GREATEST HOSPITALITY EXPERIENCE

This guesthouse was much more than I had expected! It was really good value for money, had a really large spacious room with very comfortable beds!
We had a private balcony but the views from the scarred balcony was spectacular! It was calm and quiet and hidden from the busy streets of Kandy (but still in good location to town centre with a tuk tuk).
Staff were helpful and friendly! Great breakfast!

Great value for money!

The hotel is lovely but dated. It’s in the middle of a residential area, and although google maps says it’s a 20 mins walk to the town centre, it doesn’t account for the monster hills!There was no cleaning in the room whilst we were there, water was charged at an exceptional rate, which we weren’t told about. The staff were very friendly though, and couldn’t help us enough, as we were one of two couples in the hotel during this our of season period.

Good and bad...

Very nice place and good view, good staff, and delicious  foods. I am recommended this place. Worth to price.

We stayed for a night and wished we could stay longer, unfortunately for our schedule we couldn't. Over looking the lake, this place is a bit away from the city, but you won't miss the city here. The rooms are neat and clean. The view from the balconies are soothing to the mind. Mr.Roshan, the owner is a lovely host. He was very helpful and friendly and even arranged out tickets for the Kandian dance. Mr. Hasith was also very helpful and was doing every bit he can to make our stay comfortable. The place was calm and it feels really relaxing to have our breakfast from the top-floor and with the view of the lake and mountains .
Overall a good experience and seriously recommended for spending some quality time .

Lovely host, awesome place for a tranquil stay 

We booked 2 rooms for 6 adults.  The guesthouse made a very nice gesture by putting us up in 3 rooms so we ended up sleeping in a configuration of 3+2+1.  All the 3 rooms shared a common patio that overlooked the back of the property which was peaceful and had a nice breeze.  Breakfast is nicely done on the top floor of the building. An item to note is that there are no lifts, kettles or air-conditioning here but staff are helpful and will bring you whatever you require rather promptly.

Good budget-friendly accommodation

A great little guest house with fantastic service. We were initially concerned it might be too far from the city but it was only 5 min away by tuk tuk. Would thoroughly recommend.

2 Nights for 2 in Kandy

We made the booking only a few hours before we got to the hotel. When we arrived around 10 PM, the place looked like it was closed and had been deserted. After getting the attention of one of the hotel guests, we managed to contact the staff who seemed completely unaware of the booking. They were unable to reach the hotel manager to verify the booking. Thankfully, Hasitha, a member of staff, promptly showed us to the room and assured us that we could work out the details in the morning. Hasitha greeted us in the morning and confirmed that the booking had been verified and showed us to the breakfast area. Breakfast was amazing! The manager also came by and apologized for the confusion the previous night. All-in-all, despite a bumpy start, the service at this hotel is fantastic.

All smiles and 5 Star service

Cleaner than most hotels we have been to in Sri Lanka. Friendly staff. The restaurant had a very nice balcony. The food was ok.
