We had a trip planned to Sri Lanka and even though there were security concerns we decided to go ahead with it! When we arrived to Sri Lanka we decided to go straight to Kandy well away over 3 hours from capital city Colombo. We were so surprised to see how safe and beautiful Kandy was. The place is located on a top of a hill and beautiful hosts are there to help with anything. The rooms were extremely clean. For the price you pay it’s well above with cleanliness and facilities. One of the cleanest places we have stayed in and the breakfast takes the prize! It was well spread with fresh fruit and home made food the hosts cook that morning. Best iv had in the entire trip . Definitely recommends! Don’t hold out on visiting this beautiful country . Despite all that happened these beautiful places are safe and the home stays are safe
