Nature's Nest Kandy

We were supposed to stay only one night but loved it so much we stayed 3 nights. We felt so welcomed by the couple, had lovely chats and they were so kind and helpful. We had dinner a few nights there too and it was delicious. Perfect place in Kandy, only 10 minutes in tuk tuk from the center and accessible if you like walking too (Who wouldn't in those conditions - it's so beautiful).

We were sad to be leaving the charming couple Thilani and Ranga whose kindness and fun absolutely made our stay. Thilani is a very talented cook and we had fantastic evening meals here. Breakfasts were different each day so meals were a treat to look forward to. Ranga took us on a three temple tour one morning pointing out  things of interest as he drove us around. We had an amazing experience cooking with Thilani so if you are interested in cooking you might like to book her one evening. We have travelled frequently in Sri Lanka spanning at least 30 years but this very special couple will remain in our memories for ever. Thank you Thilani and Ranga and may you continue to do well in the beautifully appointed Nature’s Nest high in the hills , away from the hustle and bustle of Kandy .

Lovely place in the hills outside busy Kandy. No trouble with the tuktuk finding the place, takes only 10min from the station. They also have a tuktuk driver to bring you down town or back to the guesthouse for a good price.
We had a clean room with good bed, balcony and seperate (private) bathroom. Good breakfast, both continental and local. Hosts are very kind and interested in their guests.  They also help you with information and arranging tours with reliable people.
Would very much recommend this place to stay!

Me and my boyfriend came here for one night but at the end we stayed two nights thanks to the kindness of our hosts. Ranga and Thilani are a really cute couple whom make you feel directly at home. Ranga can bring you to many places in Kandy while Thilani will cook for you wonderful breakfasts and dinners. 
I highly recommend this place, a wonderful surprise.

I will never again need to look for a place to stay in Kandy, Sri Lanka because one could not ask for more than this. 
The location is beautiful, and the guesthouse very clean, peaceful and surrounded in nature, with a stunning view of all Kandy. 
Thilani and Ranga are a fantastic couple and also great hosts, you feel like you are in your own home. 
Thalini: s cooking is fantastic, she will cook upon request and it was seriously the best I had in all my trip to Sri Lanka. 
Ranga knows some great locations that were new to meto visit, even though it was my third time in Sri Lanka. Had I known that there was an Indian visa office here in Kandy with this type of accommodation, I would never have wasted my time in Colombo, and I never will again. 
If you can, try to stay in the deluxe double room, you will not be disappointed.

Situated a little out of the way in Kandy.  Not easy to find a little hidden. 
Hotel was clean and rooms adequate.  Bathrooms were small and not much room between the wall, toilet and shower.  Shower was a little grubby needed a good clean on the tiles and silicone. Tea and caffe provided in the room. Great outside space on the communal veranda with good chairs and tables provided. Overall good

We booked a room for one night and when we reached the place at the time we said we would arrive nobody was there. The house was shut.
We called the owner several times but no reply. We wrote a couple of emails and no reply. We sent several sms but nothing. Very rude people.
By the way , you need a 4WD to reach that place
