This hotel is an oasis. You leave the hot and noisy streets of Kandy and find yourselves in the leafy courtyard of this historic hotel full of wood and character. The bar/resto on the first floor is open so you can watch the comings and goings on the street. We stayed here too and our room was equally characterful. Rooms do open onto the courtyard but the hotel was quiet at night. We will definitely stay again.
