Arrived late and loved the cozy place. The room was spacious, nice owner and best breakfast ever (I love our breakfast area, a big room only for 2 of us, loved it). We stayed for 2 nights and would def come back if we have a chance :)

Jerome greeted us with cold fruit juice which is just what we needed after our journey! He was also very helpful finding bus routes and times for us. Absolutely beautiful house, very clean and modern.

No negatives, besides it is a little out of the way, however it is a short bus journey to Kandy, only 20 rupees on the bus :). Make sure you have the correct phone number as our tuk tuk took two hours trying to find the place.

We had a great time at Cana Residence. The host was very welcoming, friendly and helpful, he made a wonderful breakfast every morning and helped us with finding our way around. The rooms are pretty, spacious and clean. The area is nice and quiet.

I'm a hotel traveler. But I'm happy I decided to try a guest house in Kandy. To be short: the house is perfectly clean, spacious, new. It's not in downtown, but it will take just 500-700 rupees and 10 minutes to get to it by tuk-tuk from the railway or bus station. The area is very quiet and green. What was outstanding is the host and his family. 
He was the first person on the island that seemed not to care about money, he was sincerely trying to make our stay at his house and Sri Lanka in general a good experience so that we want to come back. He told us about the fair price of tuk-tuk, and it saved us a lot later. We had a lot of questions about how to better arrange our trip further, and he gave good advices, wrote everything down and gave us the plan ) 
We tried other guest houses in Dambulla and Pinawalla with excellent reviews, but it was terrible, compared to Jerome's house. So we were more than happy that Jerome had a free room for us on our way back to Kandy. After all the greedy tuk-tuk drivers, other guest house's host, after an exhausting bus trip, I thank God there is Jerome, his family and that it's possible to stay at his house in Kandy. It's very comfortable, and more important - safe, relaxing, because you feel you can trust this family.

We had an amazing stay here. My wife and I stayed here for three weeks. Beautiful gated bungalow on a quiet piece of land off the main street. A nice place for us to come home to after running around Kandy and visiting with family. Very clean room with AC to sleep in, and a wonderful breakfast to wake up to every morning...and can't forget the great service Mr Gerome whom we looked forward to meeting everyday with his great attitude and service. Honestly felt like a friend by the end of our stay. Great place to start and end the day. We definitely would stay here again.
