Yes, the view from this guest house is mesmerizing , out of the world. All the three rooms were allocated to us. The reason for booking this guest house is kitchen, as we have 10 months baby I wanted to cook food for baby. 
Kitchen was not clean, gas was not cleaned at all. I could see stains on gas. The floor was not swept and mopped properly. It was raining outside and when we wanted to take bath in morning hot water was not coming. The main thing is owner was in touch with phone some other local person was helping us with all the facilities , he was very helpful. Another bad experience we had was whatever amount we had booked for through Booking.com we were asked to pay more than that from owner, this is shocking for us. Later with lot of discussions we settled for one amount. We left the place with the above experience. We had mixed experience of both bad and good 😊. I would request the owner to stay in the place to help there guests

What we expected and what we got!!!!! 

When I arrived from Sigiriya, you were looking forward to this guesthouse on the mountain. But when I arrived, the hostess always had a little bit of sorry sorry sorry sorry. Agoda problem/booking.com problem. Unfortunately, neither she nor her husband spoke suitable English. I found out... double booking. They had a flat on the ground floor of their house with a kitchen, living room and bedroom and bathroom. Very old, shady and a huge construction site in front of the door that probably lasts for another year! This applies to all the rooms! So I had snails, cockroaches and lots of other animals living with me. But... the bed was very clean and comfortable. The bedroom was free of money.

I'm disappointed.

kitchen is very dirty with lizards all over. Fridge stinks.bedroom also has lizards . no driver accommodation.

Rooms are big and owner stays on first floor and the guest accommodation is on 2nd floor. Room has a good view of the city lake and tooth relic. Other rooms are good.

Good accommodation at excellent location but bit under maintained

We stayed here with our two teenage children. The apartment has absolutely stunning views and is just a short walk up from the main viewing point for Kandy. 

This appartment consists of three bedrooms, one en suite and one shared en suite. We had the place to ourselves though. There is also a kitchen and lounge area. The one bedroom with the lake view is stunning and has a/c. 

You can walk into Kandy in about 5 - 10 minutes - or get a tuk tuk for 300 - 400 rs - but  be prepared to direct them because we didn't find one who knew where it was! 

It is a clean apartment but there is a lot of mould in the showers.......would recommend for the view, location and space that you get.

Amazing view and very friendly hosts

Stayed at this  apartment for two days in march 2015 as a stop off towards Colombo airport. Very clean amazing view of the lake , watched the monkeys entertain us hanging on the telegraph poles. Family run and were helpfull. Own space and Kitchenet at side. Full  A/C. Nice walk from here down to the town, as it is uphill,  Would have liked more towels as one each for 3days.. very central.. view of the Buddha on the hill, which we visited,

9A Guest house was a paradise for us. It is a 3BHK flat and each room is given for the tourist. The owners stay in the ground floor. The were kind, humble, and smiling.. :-)
We were given the best room (Lake view). Even though the guest house is bit away from the Kandy lake. The view from the room is very good and scenic. You should enjoy the night view, the lake was glittering with street light.
It was a retreat for us, when we came back tired from the day trip. The room is well furnished with modern bathroom facilities and a washing machine.. Which was a pleasant surprise.. Very traveller friendly..
The house is well furnished with all amenities in place.. Felt like home away from home.. The living room has huge glass windows overseeing the view of mountains and the Kandy lake. It was also refreshing to see the White Budha in the middle of a green carpet high in the mountains, while having a cup of Srilankan Tea.
Pizza hut is nearby with home delivery option to this place. You have an option of preparing also in the kitchen.
And one more thing, yes there are monkeys roaming in the mornings which is interesting but not safe to keep door or windows open at anytime
