Unfortunately, we didn't stay at Pura Sanda Villa, but we spent a day and a half with Nadesha. He is a great person, really genuine and helped make our time in Sigiria very memorable and special. He is very hospitable, greeting us with fresh lime juice from his garden and sharing forest honey. Nadesha showed us the highlights of the area, Dambuella monastery, Sigiria rock, an ancient Buddhist meditation centre in the forest (I have forgotten the name at the moment), and an afternoon of elephant watching. Everything was organised perfectly and all for a VERY reasonable price. We wished we could have stayed at his hotel as well, it all looked so nice, and I'm sure it would be great. We truly enjoyed meeting and getting to know Nadi and learning more about this special area of Sri Lanka.
