Villa Aroshina

Felt like a home from home the moment I was welcomed by Aroshina and her family. A beautiful villa that looks exactly like the photos. Clean and colourful with exotic touches with inside and balcony spaces outside your comfortable clean room you can also comfortably relax in. The location is walkable to Galle Fort but the family readily provided a drop off and pick up Tuk Tuk service just by asking. The daily breakfast is a delicious Sril Lankan feast! and the cooking experience with Aroshina is a MUST DO it was def. the highlight of my short Galle trip. From preparation to eating it felt like you were at home with laughter and conversation among the learning. She welcomed my sister who wasn’t even staying at the villa to join and it was a true Sri Lankan homely experience. Sitting down to eat the feast we had cooked with the Aroshina and the other guests in the villa was a fun delight, we ate we drank we laughed and shared stories. This was a genuine experience you won’t find in other formal cooking lessons. Aroshina is a professional, an amazing cook and teacher and host.
