Bird Villa

I stayed in Bird Villa with my wife and two kids for two nights. The owner is a very friendly man who was eager to help us in any way he could. He also offers transport with his car. The house that we rented was clean and spacious, with two bedrooms with 3 double beds and two bathrooms. Also a big living room with salon and dining table, and an equiped kitchen with refrigerator (with beer!). We had a garden of our own, integrated in the big land on which the owner lives with his family. They love to show the garden and give explanations about the plants. You can spot animals like monkeys and mongoose. In the evening there van be mosquitos outside so be prepared (Citriodiol is still the best natural repellent). Bird Villa is a few kilometers away from the old center of Galle so you need transport to get there but this is provided for a decent price by the owner. So if you're looking for a decent spacious house in beautiful and quiet surroundings, this is it!
