Pros: Location, one is in "no time" to many areas of the city, very safe environment, clean and well kept, small kitchenette, fully furnished, a/c, high-speed-Wifi, Sat-TV,washing machine available. Helpful staff, friendly land-lady.A small green garden-strip where one may smoke.Good value for money.
Cons: Not spacious enough if traveling by 2 persons. Pressure (water) in the shower low.

This place is quiet and peaceful yet surrounded by traffic choked roads and building construction. Great location to visit Sri Lankas top department store Odel, Arpico Superstore and Viharamahadevi Park. Also has satellite TV with lots of channels and a kitchen. Loved the Kandygs manchester too

It is a little tricky to find as there is no sign on the street so follow the instructions the owner sends you! 
But the location is great to see all the sites and there are a number of restaurants close by.
We had the garden studio room which was lovely! The kitchen is great, especially if you were going to stay a while and could make full use of it. All very clean and the only separate shower cubicle we had during our whole trip!! and great wifi too
For Colombo it is great value!

Lovely small garden studio, with nice clean bathroom, small kitchen (with all the utensils you need), good wifi and a soft but comfy bed
Central location with a few nice restaurants and shops around 
Nice owner who checks on you to make sure you have everything you need! 
Great value for money!

Lovely place, great staff

Great stay! 

Booked this place based on reviews here.  I found it poor value for money, you are basically sleeping in a furbished toolshed of a private house. I did not feel welcome. All communication goes through the errand boy of the house owner.
