My friend and I had a good stay at Flymoon. 

The staff were friendly and very helpful. They helped us with our luggage and organising a Tuk Tuk safari (we saw elephants).

The location is awesome. It is really close to the beach, shops and restaurants. 

The hotel does have a restaurant attached that serves great food at great prices.

Breakfast was included and we had a choice of drink and an item off the menu such as a pancake or eggs. It was tasty.  

When we stayed at Flymoon they were having problems with the wifi but the manager made a plan and we could use a hotspot off his tablet so we were not without wifi.

The rooms were clean and when we had a slight problem with the drain the staff very quickly fixed it. The room we were in was very large and had a mosquito net.

Something to note is there was no hot water but the weather was so hot it is not really needed.


Great location and great staff

Super budget friendly, amazing hosts that cater to every need. Good a/c, wifi, decent sized room. You're a stone's throw from the beach but just out of the major chaos and nightlife (still walking distance away). Attached to a restaurant that serves delicious food. You must get a banana roti !!!!

The staff are super nice and helpful in everything. The room is pleasantly large, the bathroom is convenient. At breakfast, you choose a drink and a meal from the map. The location is very good, in the AC room you don't hear any noise, in the ventilator room you can hear the street or the prayer songs and dogs. The rooms could always be a little better cleaned on arrival, just about the bed etc. The bathroom is just fine. There are no blankets, but you get an extra sheet if you ask. Apart from a bed, a table and a chair in the room, there is nothing available. You put everything on the floor.

Rice&curry, kottu chicken: perfect spices (as you want) and taste, big quantity (full plates) and good price (250 and 300). We tried 9 restaurants in Arugambay and it was at Flymoon that we had the best meal !
