Micalet Apartments by Home Club

We are a family of three who stayed in the Micalet I apartment. It was perfect. The apartment was spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished and with three huge glass doors and a stunning long balcony overlooking the Cathedral and the square. We could see people/tourists wandering around directly outside our apartment, which gave a great sense of place and energy. If you wanted privacy you could shut the doors. We loved looking out and seeing the beautiful old buildings and all the people, and our daughter enjoyed standing on the balcony and watching and waving. On the first floor, directly beside the front door to the apartment building, is an excellent gelato place, where we developed a fun evening tradition of having some ice cream before turning in for the night. Excellent restaurants immediately next door in all directions. The Cathedral is one of main attraction in valencia and it's literally next to the apartment. The gorgeous Plaza de la Virgen, with a lovely fountain and lots of patio restaurants, is a just feet away. The Central Market and the Colon Market were a five minute walk away. And the midsection of the Jardin del turia was a close walk as well. Literally all the attractions were walking distance. The City of Arts and Sciences was a longer walk, but you can stroll across the city in the Jardin de Turia and you arrive in no time and it's a beautiful walk. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our visit to Valencia and this apartment was a large part of it. There's a grocery store right around the corner too, so we could stock up on snacks and breakfast and store them in the fridge. The two bedrooms were comfortable and each had its own ensuite bathroom. Truly an amazing place, perfect location, and excellent value. We look forward to staying here again.
