It's worth a stroll through this large and open area, and it's free and you can get some refreshment, and if it's a sunny day or a breezy day, the plan is excellent, it's always crowded and many of you are playing sports, playing games, or sunbathing on the grass.

There is a huge park, La Ciudadela or El Retiro de Valencia.

Park that runs through the city almost end to end, great for sports (racing, football etc.). Very exposed, the heat is suffocating in the middle of summer afternoon. Go from the zoo to the city of arts and sciences.

An exceptional place all along the Turia in Valencia, each stretch has a special charm, it's taken full advantage of, but my favorite part is in the area of the Palau de la Música, various activities, such as a 4-person bike ride, there's music, it's as if the Palau extends and then a train ride to the City of Arts and Sciences, really an experience!!

An extraordinary walk.

Los Jardines del Turia, that is, the old river has become the lungs of Valencia and the place of leisure for thousands of Valencians and tourists every day of the year.Here apart from having football and rugby fields, there are running tracks, bike tracks, children's attractions, parks for dogs, thousands of square meters with grassland for grazing and sunbathing, there are cafes, thousands of trees and you notice the work that the maintenance team does because everything is very clean.

Park of luxury

Idyllic for cyclists, runners, family or solo. A good option to enjoy a stroll along its roads and its recovecos. Undoubtedly the Pulmón de Valencia. It also has bares to enjoy a snack.

Amazing park with different areas for a range of interested. Well maintained and very popular. 

Top tip: we hired a cycle and Dodd the whole park from Mislata to the port - worth while and lovely way to spend the day. 

Top marks 

Large gardens, very beautiful and well maintained, to be visited on foot or by bicycle, perhaps better on bicycle to see more of them, ideal for relaxing in the middle of nature, absolutely recommended.

Wonderful Gardens

The gardens are situated in the bed of an old dried-up river. They are very clean and, like the Tiber in Rome, it crosses the whole city.
