Barcarola Club

We arrived at Barcaelo apartments on Oct 5th, this was our first time staying here, although we have been going to Lanzarote for about 35years. We asked for a sunny balcony, which we got, infact we were offered another apartment round the back of the complex, but we choose B2...It was a beautiful apartment, with air con, thankfully, as we arrived in the middle of a heat wave, needless to say we didn't avail too much of the balcony in the afternoon as it was unbelievably hot!! The shower in the bathroom was fantastic, the apartment was cleaned every day, with clean towels supplied every day. The view from the apartment was lovely, sea and mountain view. It was quiet and peaceful at night, as the bedroom is at the back of the apartment, but even sitting on balcony at night it was not at all noisy. My only thing about the apartment was the sofa was too big, our feet couldn't touch the ground, so it wasn't comfy to sit on. The pool area is beautiful, well kept and very clean. Alot of people did put towels out and then disappear for long periods, we did see the pool guy remove them and leave them at reception a few times. Pool bar was great plenty of choice of drinks and food etc... Paolo works so hard, and very cheerful guy. Breakfast in the restaurant in the mornings was lovely, again plenty of choice, the staff there work so hard, and always have a smile and greet you in the morning. The lady who makes the fried food, omelette etc is so nice, she's very chatty and friendly, and makes amazing omelette!! Rabel on reception, who greeted us on out first night, was very friendly, as was Ilona, and the other receptionist, who was there the day we checked out was very friendly, all the staff in the apartments are a fantastic bunch of people, who work hard to make your stay here a memorable one. The location is perfect , no hills etc, and the restaurant beside this complex gives you discount if your staying at these apartments. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so enjoyable, we will return to you again in March 2024.
