Apartament Island Village

We travelled as a family of 5 for 1 week in Feb 2018. Parents with 3 children aged 23, 21 and 17. We were met by the owner upon our arrival at the apartment. It is clear that he takes great pride in his property and this is reflected in the standard of the finish and the attention to detail that has gone into it. He described himself as a design architect and this was reflected in the use of wood , slate and natural light resulting in an apartment that was spacious, airy and pleasing to the eye. His passion for the property was reflected in the small touches and decoration. There were even single roses placed in the shower room and kitchen, pop art work on the walls and ambient lighting in the shower rooms. The apartment has 2 large bed rooms – one with large en-suite shower room - with plenty of spare bedding and a variety of coloured/faux fur throws if required. There were more towels than our family of 5 needed and included beach towels. The kitchen was brand new with all mod cons, a breakfast bar with seats for 4 and a large fridge/freezer. There was everything you could need should you wish to cook but we ate at a range of restaurants in the area. All washing/cleaning materials were provided for the kitchen and washing machine. The large lounge area was very comfortable with 2 couches and access to a large variety of TV channels. There was WIFI which had good connection. The lounge opens on to a gorgeous terrace with beautiful sea views, stylish seating and sun lounger area. There is also access to the 2 pools in the complex which were well maintained and gated. The complex was clean and quiet and excellently situated with a 5 minute walk down hill to the main street where there were countless restaurants and bars to suit all ages and tastes and plenty of shops including several supermarkets for provisions. I would recommend this apartment for older teens upwards who want a modern base from which to enjoy Tenerife.
