Our room was a good size, quiet & comfortable, well furnished with nicely coordinated fabrics & colours. We were on the 3rd floor (lift), and overlooked the park. The hostal is on a pedestrian street (part of the Camino de Santiago) leading to the Roman bridge and Parador. There are tables & chairs outside, a pleasant place to sit & watch the world go by. It's an easy level walk past the Parador and on into town towards the shops, Museum & Cathedral. Also only 10 mins walk from the station - the nicer route being along the river. The staff were extremely helpful, assisted when we had trouble connecting to the wifi, were happy to make us an "off the menu" cooked breakfast in the cafe/bar downstairs and generally made us feel welcome.
