We were looking for an authentic close-to-nature place to stay in Mallorca and found Na Martina through Henrik at Rural Hotels Mallorca, and it was exactly what we were looking for. The rooms are spacious and clean. Staff is very nice and helpful, and make the children feel at ease and welcome. The pool area is very nice and since there are not many rooms and people are out and about, you often get it to yourself. The one thing I will do different next time is to rent a car for the whole stay. The hotel doest not serve lunch, and only dinner Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, so you need a car unless you want to taxi around. The hotel is indeed located at walking distance from some very nice beaches, but these are small and there was only 1 restaurant available which gives you very limited options if you don’t have a car. The hotel can provide a picnic service of sandwiches and fruits, if you order at breakfast, which saved us some days :) We went to Portopetro, Cala d’Or, and Colonia de Sant Jordi for dinner and found a good choice of restaurants. And of course we visited Palma for a day of culture and shopping.
