We stayed here from August 17 to 24th 2016, my wife and I and 3 kids aged 16, 14 & 8, we were in apartment 502, I don't no about the other apartments but ours was fine, it was what you would expect for 2 star, not filthy dirty as we were expecting after reading some of the comments on here, prob could use a lick of paint, but in general it was all we needed. Clean bathroom, clean kitchen & fridge & microwave & hob. Plenty space, two twin bedrooms & living dining room with sofa bed & lovely balcony looking onto busy buzzing shopping street which leads to the busy beach only 200 meters away. Great location right in the centre of everything, we haven't been on a sun holiday in a few years & we all had an absolute ball, plenty places to eat & drink nearby. It doesn't have air-con but we were able to rent a fan from the rental-mar & also had to rent the safe key. We would have liked air-con but the location made up for it. Clean sheets  & towels were on table when we arrived and the beds had clean sheets already. We washed towels in the sink at night and they would be dry by morning on the balcony, we also brought some towels with us which came in handy, & bought beach towels for €5 each in the shop nearby. We would stay here again and are planning on going back next year, we will try to get an apartment with air-con nearby but if not possible we will rebook this place, because we loved the location & atmosphere, the street is busy & noisy at times & into early hours of the morning but that didn't bother us it just added to the atmosphere, but maybe not for people with young kids. We were terrified after reading some of the comments on here after booking, but we were very happy once we arrived, we weren't expecting a palace only a good base for our holiday. 

Great holiday 

The reviews on these apartments are very old. These are private apartment and let out by an agency it says to collect key at los peces its actually from a rentalamar office it's open 24hrs it's near los peces. Our apartment was a 2 bed very modern and spacious right in the center of salou. It has security gate and cameras the pub/ restaurant next door is very nice with friendly staff. It's says on their website that there is a washing machine and oven. There's no washing machine and it's a microwave oven. We had a really large balcony. The swimming pool is a couple of minutes walk away they have a snack bar, pool tables, table tennis, air hockey & mini golf. Our teenagers loved it. I would stay here again. I don't know what the other apartments are like as they are private let's.

hi,have news for peoples who have plans to go to this hotel, i can say no way , this is a joke ,this apartament should be 2 levels and wasn't  i just back fev days ago and will never back to this place again, this is not worth 100E, rooms are in poor conditiom , walls very dirty ,paint maybe 10 years  ago , spat , sing of vomit and cracked plaster, towels was never change in full week , no kettle , no pots , coolbox was worked in the 50% and was missing many kitchen device which were to be provided(self catering ),when we complain they said if u want cheap holiday that u have and they said than we should complain to alpharoms,and there is lots young peoples whoi drink all night and it's very noise all night to 7-8 morning , so i have no comment anymore , poor poor poor

We stayed here in May 2007 as our children wanted to visit Port Aventura. Key collection was from an office nearly 1km away,
 The apartments are in a good location close to the beach and surrounded by bars, restaurants and shops, 
They have two good sized bedrooms large kitchen and bathroom and a very large lounge area as well as a decent balcony.
 Unfortunately they were very dirty upon our arrival, The kitchen was poorly equipped lacking in basic utensils,
  The furniture throughout the apartment was worn and in need of replacement, The balcony doors didn't close properly and had broken locks,
 According to the properties website the apartments were to be cleaned twice weekly and linen and towels changed once a week however this was not the case  the cleaners didn't come once during our two week stay and we came back to the apartment at the end of the first week to find a sack of bedding and towels dumped inside our door for us to change ourselves.
 I would not recommend this establishment which is a great shame as their location is good and they have so much potential.

Large dirty rooms in need of repair.

Myself, my partner, my mother in law and 3 children stayed in the iris for 2 weeks at the begining of may my first impression on entering was oooooo its lovely and big which it was a very good size apartment,it also had a washing machine, then I had a closer look. It was absolutely scrufffy, the floors were dirty and dusty, surfaces
were dirty, it was the first holiday I have had where I had to do housework before I could enjoy my holiday. It had a very foisty smell, I think we must have been the first people this season which makes me a little more dissapointed it was  not cleaned properly. 
The description stated we would have our bed linen changed weekly, what they really meant was they would leave a bag of clean sheets so you could change your own, I had no problem doing this but it is not what was in the description. They also said our towels would be changed weekly but they were not so thank god for the washing machine. 

I would use the apartments again but will look into who owns the apartments first as the owners of this one did not have it up to standards for our arrival they even tried to rip us off when we went to their office to change currency. On the whole we had a great holiday no thanks to the apartment.
