Baiona is a beautiful beach town with a fortress overlooking the town and a lovely beach. The views from the fortress are stunning. Unbeknownst to me, La Pinta, one of Christopher Columbus’ exploration ships is anchored here. To walk onto La Pinta is something I will never forget. Knowing where it has traveled and it’s history is personally fascinating. Baiona is lovely and spending some time there exploring was wonderful. To find out about La Pinta was a bonus!
