44 reviewsWe have been to Alcudia 4 times! We have spent two holidays in lovely 5 star hotels in the area but cannot beat our stay in the Carabela apartments! They are a home away from home and are fabulous! You get the comfort of being in a home away from home with the luxury of being in a prime location. This means we can spend cooler evening on the beach looking at the stars which we amazing! They are excellent value for money and are on the beach really close to the port! Although we could have cooked as we had the facilities, we didn’t, and because we were not tied down to a dining plan we had the opportunity to try the local restaurants! Highly recommend the Mirablau at the vanity fair which is next door and pippers on the port! The boat and anchor is also fab for a family breakfast! The pool is amazing and overlooking the beach! Compared to a hotel it never gets too busy and you can always find somewhere to eat!! The caretaker is a bit grumpy and wouldn’t let the children take there inflatables in (not that this stopped any of them when he was out of sight) but I get why he needs to run a tight ship too! From what I can gather owners are no longer allowed to advertise rentals and this is linked with Balearic tax laws! However you can still find some advertised online or ask the locals because they all seem to know someone who owns one! Cannot wait to return...the problem is I don’t want to stay as a family in a busy hotel again!! X
