MarSenses Puerto Pollensa Hotel & Spa - Adults Only

We've been coming to the resort for quite a few years but this was our first time at MarSenses and our first time where we were not self catering. I'd looked at lots of reviews when deciding where to stay this year and we thought we'd give MarSenses a try because we thought half board would suit us this year and the reviews were generally very good. I couldn't have been happier with the choice because it really is a great place to stay. The location is ideal, the place is quiet being adults only and I don't think I've had better service anywhere. From checking in to checking out and all the meals in between everyone was so friendly and helpful. All the staff work so hard to ensure guests have a great environment to stay in and receive great service. I'd read a small number of reviews which were critical of the quality of the food and the situation around sunbeds bud didn't experience problems with either of those things. Everyone has their own tastes of course but we found that there was always plenty of choice and the a la carte evenings only make that more so. Breakfast especially was great but dinner was always enjoyable too. Drinks prices are good too, especially the wine which is generally much more expensive elsewhere. The ability to put things on the room was good too which saved a lot of messing with bills each time we got a drink. The situation with sunbeds had recently been resolved with new rules stopping people reserving beds really early and then not using them until later in the day. This was made clear when checking in and seemed to be followed by everyone. The hotel had possibly also provided extra ones and though it was busy during our stay, there never seemed to be a time where beds were fully occupied. When I got home I realised that we'd been charged twice for the tourist fee and when I emailed the hotel to check, they got back to me straight away and a refund was given the same day. I really can't fault any aspect of our stay.
