Iberostar Selection Albufera Park - All Inclusive

Our second visit to this fantastic hotel. In short lots to be thankful for in terms of quality of rooms, food and warm and friendly service. Having recently stayed in other hotels that claim to be 5 star this hotel beat them all. I wish I could remember the names of the staff at reception, the main restaurant and the bars, to thank them all. All offered a warm welcome, always a smile and no request appeared to be too much. The poolside and evening shows were of a good standard with staff that had a good balance of involving the audience without being too pushy. In terms of restaurants, we tended to sit in the outside eating area within the main restaurant which was lovely and not so busy as the inside area. We never had to wait long for a table. Quality of food across all the restaurants was good. As others will have mentioned, make sure to book which restaurants you want when you arrive as spaces are booked quickly. On beach location is fantastic although it will be too far out of the main Alcudia Center for some. It worked well for us as a family. We could walk or jump on the bus depending on whatever we needed that wasn’t in the neighbouring shops. A couple of hyper critical things for the hotel management to watch out for: 1. I hope you can maintain the quality of the refurbishment and keep on top of repairs. Rooms were great but being from a construction background I could spot some tiny faults that could lead to water damage in the future. Definitely a hyper critical point but wouldn’t want this becoming an issue in the future. 2. I appreciate how the hotel is trying to manage the daily cleaning of the pools. The only issue we had is that my wife has on recent holidays got into the habit of going for a swim early in the morning. This was an issue this year as all the pools were being cleaned until around 9am. Could I suggest that you have 1 of the pools open and available for early morning swimmers. It’s a lovely way to kick off the day before breakfast and we missed it this year. As I mentioned at the start of this review, fantastic hotel and would 100% recommend to other families.
