Casa García

Although this isn’t a new property, neither is it a really old property. My room was clean and comfortable, and my bathroom across the hall included a full-size tub. The owners were helpful in handling a couple of issues that had come up with a luggage transport company. Also, the next morning I accidentally left my hiking poles in my room. The owners of Casa García strapped them onto the luggage I was having transported that day, so the poles were waiting for me at the end of the day when I arrived at my hotel. I noticed in one of the other reviews a comment about the WiFi signal not working well in the rooms. This is true. It’s also VERY common in small towns along the Camino in Spain where there is limited bandwidth available. Note: Casa García is about 4 kilometers off the Camino. If you don’t want to walk it (downhill all the way there, and uphill in the morning), you can order a taxi up top at O Cebreiro to transport you. Casa García doesn’t do pickups or drop offs.
