21 reviewsHeading for halfway through my week-long thrash around northern Spain, the rain certainly didn’t stay on the plains! Foolishly I’d believed the weather forecast, & it hit me hard. I was saturated, literally, & only those of you who’ve been in this situation on a motorbike truly know how awful a plight it can be. I’d given up hope when I came across this hotel / restaurant. I was dripping, my leathers weighed twice what they usually do, my boots were squelching with every step, & yet I was welcomed as though I was wearing the latest fashions & not about to drip all over their furniture. My room was perfect for my needs, enough space to spread out all my sodden gear, & at my request they even switched the heating back on so I could dry everything out! They couldn’t have been more helpful. The restaurant was way better than I anticipated. Not that I thought it’d be bad, but it serves high quality food on a varied menu. Don’t be put off by the roadside location, my room overlooked the road & I heard no traffic noise all night. Brilliant.
