It was our fist visit to San Juan de Capistrano and booked an apartment initially through an online company but then once in touch with owner were offered the apartment direct with them. We struck gold as it was fabulous. Extremely well equipped and with stunning view from terrace. There is a local blue bus that goes up and down the various capistrano villages hourly for one Euro. Which we used to assist our supermarket shop. San Juan is on a steep hill but you are rewarded with stunning views. There are numerous styles and sizes of rental apartments on The San Juan development and varying degrees of quality. With luck and some research you may be lucky and find a gem like we did. We hope to come back next year. Weather was great in March and Nerja is a lovely town.
