178 reviewsWhen heading south to Portugal we decided to make a 4 day break in a region we have never been before. We booked the hotel following the good reviews on booking.com and I have to admit that we have not been disappointed at all. First of all I would like to praise not only the owners but the whole staff of the hotel, from the management to the cleaning ladies. Everybody is very helpful, professional, dedicated to their work, kind and friendly and they make you feel at home. The hotel is well situated with quick access to stunning landscapes. The owners will largely explain you the many sites to visit nearby. We absolutely recommend the walk around the seven lakes in the mountains (amazing!) called Estanhs de Colomèrs, Artiga de Lin, Montgarri,...but there is so much more. After a long walk you can relax in the large pool in the hotel. Not to forget the dinner in the restaurant: well prepared, big choice, well dressed and of very good quality. You will have to pass by the dessert buffet which is large and excellent. We regret that we did not stay a few days more to discover even more in this pretty region! The only negative point is that the pool is situated the other side of the main street, which is a bit stressy when you have little kids. Unfortunately there is no zebra crossing, which would be very helpful.
