84 reviewsHidden in an olive grove, this place was our absolute favourite during our holiday touring Andalucia- we loved our 4 nights relaxing here. The rooms are lovely, Andalucian style and spotlessly clean. You stay in an old farmhouse building- we chose a superior room upstairs looking out over the olive trees. It is very homely with laundry drying and nice communal areas. There is a lovely courtyard to eat breakfast and dinner in and a very attractive pool to relax by. We also loved the owners’ friendly dogs especially Manuela. Be prepared for a few free range chickens walking around- all part of the rural experience for us. The hotel is run by a wonderful couple who work extremely hard yet are very friendly. We enjoyed the home cooked dinners. Other restaurants and bars are available less than 5km away by car if you want cheaper or smaller but we chose to eat at the hotel every night and enjoyed the experience- it was our evening entertainment. Obviously you need a car to access this place, which means you can visit some Pueblos Blancos like Olvera and historic towns like Osuna. We recommend cycling the Via verde de Sierra which starts in Olvera, 55 minutes drive away (you can hire bikes there, see website). We were very sad to leave Hotel Rural Hoyo Bautista and if we return to this part of Spain we will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended and thank you so much for a wonderful stay and welcome.
