635 reviewsWe are a group of eight golfers who go away twice a year and over the years have stayed in many hotels across Spain and Portugal. Our five nights at the Convento La Magdalena was amazing and it is definitely one of the best places we have stayed. It's a little way out of Antequera ( 10 min drive) but because of this it's an incredibly peaceful, quiet area with beautiful scenery everywhere you look. I used to go for a walk each morning and the surrounding area is so peaceful and breathtaking I had to drag myself back for breakfast :-) The breakfast was excellent (with plenty of options) and all the staff I encountered were really lovely, friendly and helpful. We only tried the bar food but this was really tasty and reasonably priced. Thanks Convento La Magdalena. We will be back!
