Spain Select Serrano

We stayed in this apartment hotel for 4 nights back in October 2017. When booking the room, we requested two single beds, but ended up having one double bed in our room instead. As we were both extremely tired after travelling, we couldn’t be bothered to complain about it. We probably should have informed the staff as neither of us slept well during our stay due to that (+also the mattress was very hard which I personally find uncomfortable). Now, few months later is way too late to complain about the bed issue as we did not say anything straight away, but thought I’d let people know about this anyway. This did not affect my rating. The room itself was modern, large and very tidy, spacious toilet/shower room with good shower. There was also a little kitchenette in the apartment room which included a fridge, hob and a sink + cupboard, but no cutlery, crockery or a kettle. Not sure if these items were available on request. The room was cleaned daily which was nice. There was also a laundry room available to use, so if any washing needed to be done, it was possible. Wi-Fi did not work in our room. The location of this apartment hotel was perfect for us. Not far from anywhere (within a walking distance) and most importantly it was in a quiet and safe street (near a big and busy road though!) There were couple of shops/supermarkets around and lots of restaurants, all within a walking distance from this place. Even with the language barrier, the housekeeping ladies were very friendly and helpful. The staff behind the reception also helpful, not the friendliest though. The price-quality ratio was good, we got what we paid for. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to stay in a standard quality place, but who is not after any luxury.
