This hotel is a lovely place in a picturesque village, with old narrow streets. The room was clean, eveything worked well in the bathroom, the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic (plenty of choice. Do not expect an English breakfast, neither eggs nor bacon, but plenty of quality local products, ham, cheese, fruit, honey, and cakes, muesli...), but I did not like the television running (quietly, but disturbing, trash programs). 
The hotel staff was always friendly. The time to get breakfast was unfortuntely a bit late, from 9.00 till 11.00 a.m., thus too late in the summer if you want to make a really longer hike. Better would be from 8.00 to 10.00. 
The hotel has a private parking space, but it costs 12.00 € per day, so we preferred to ley our car at one of the public parking spaces of the village (it is a rather safe place).
The pool was resfreshing, with great views; it does not suit for small children though, as it is deep everywhere (150 cm to 170 cm if I remember well). But this was just nice, being able to swim properly... A nice cat greeted us at the pool.
It is possible to hike directly from the hotel without having to move the car (at least 2 hikes). 
There are not many restaurants or shops (behalve art and craft products) in town, but it is normal, it is a small village after all. 

A lovely hotel in a picturesque village

We have visited the hotel with family and friends and everything has been perfect. The rooms are very large, clean, furnished with everything necessary. The breakfast is exceptional, super complete. The location is unbeatable as when we arrive we leave the car in the parking lot for 10 euros and should never pick it up again. The owners are very kind. I recommend 100 x 100.

The hotel is conveniently located close to everything and a very nice environment The girl who greeted us at the reception was very friendly the room was very nice very spacious, the bathroom was very spacious the car was left in the hotel parking lot The breakfast was spectacular We liked everything would come back with nowhere to go.

A trip to the Alpujarra granadina we liked very much the surrounding villages.

Every year we come back, it's been several years and every time I get happier, it's a luxury and a pleasure to be able to spend a few days at this hotel and the attention I've received and to highlight Mari Cruz who is an eye for everything and with a very correct approach that makes you feel so much...thanks for the tomato juice.

A hotel full of charm, where one breathes peace and tranquility, with beautiful views, a great swimming pool and breakfast with lots of variety and lots of homemade cakes, delicious food, the staff of 10 people.

Fantastically beautiful.

A very recommended hotel. Total cleanliness, absolute friendliness and the breakfast to see, is simply exceptional, the travelers even take pictures of it.

PERFECT and pleasing adhesives of very clean quality.

The hotel's staff is very attentive and serviced, the breakfasts are very good with some rich homemade pies, it has a private indoor parking lot and just across the street is a free public car park.

The hotel is located in Pampaneira.

I think it's one of the best locations to visit the Alpujarra in a very charming place. The hotel is right by the road with a free car park 10 meters away and a private one from the hotel itself in its basement (Most importantly if you're riding a motorcycle as a nosotors, the 10€/night we pay if we kissed to have it in a private car park) The breakfast is a complete and varied surprise, a free buffet that lacks nothing and a lot of quantity and quality.

The ideal place to be....

We stayed at this hotel and it was an incredible experience, the friendly staff, the spacious room and especially the clean, the spectacular breakfast with a wide variety of homemade cakes, with a lot of variety, fruits, sandwiches, toast, exquisite coffee.

This is an excellent experience.

I have no words but to thank you for the treatment received by the people of the Hotel Estrella de las Nievesthe next visit to the Alpujarra will not be staying in this charming hotel.
