The service experience at Hostal La Vila was exceptional. The owners are friendly, engaging, kind and provided every assistance to our requests over our five week stay. The room suited us as a place to sleep and shower as we were visiting older relatives nearby. Room access is keyless with the use of an electronic card and the door has a The room overlooked the main square and contained a small balcony (not suitable for young children). Noise was never a problem but the local cathedral bell strikes every 15 minutes every hour of the day which can wake guests up. This establishment is strictly a bed and breakfast venue and is modern and clean. The dining room is suitable and nicely furnished with a homely feel. The hotel has a small four person elevator to all floors. Door access is via keyless electronic card and a large mechanical door lock utilised when guests are in the room. There is a wall mounted television set. Overall this venue is value for money, clean and tidy, provides secure accomodation and is located in the centre of Olot. The bus station is only two blocks away and can be walked to with luggage. Vehicle access is limited and parking is not available on site.
