This was booked as part of our tour but it was a good choice. Durango is only a small town and this hotel is in a quiet location just across the road from the entrance to the old town. The staff were all very friendly and helpful especially in the restaurant. Don't fall for the water in the fridge being complimentary as it's €2 for a tiny bottle!!! There's a store not far away to buy a big bottle for less than half that! The room was well equipped but the bathroom was quite small and you had to be careful opening the door if anyone else was in there! We couldn't get the safe to lock but it felt a very safe environment there anyway and we didn't ask to have it fixed. We really enjoyed our 3 night stay.
