Wife and I did the Camino by bike in May of 2022. Everywhere was busier than we had ever seen it. Perhaps due to Covid and pent up demand. We were unsuccessful booking ahead so we tried our luck just going door to door and came across Albergue Internacional. To our surprise they had a private room and bath available. Warm welcome from the gentleman at the front desk. He showed us where we could safely store our bikes and we settled into our room on the top floor (attic) with a skylight. We spent 2 nights there as we were ahead of our scheduled arrival for Santiago.  There is a Supermercado Froiz just down the road for all your grocery needs.  Highly recommend Albergue internacional and would stay again in future.

Right on the Camino.

The staff from the lady that took my order through the gentleman that served the food to the very jolly lady that cooked the food. I think that because they were so happy it made all the customers happy.

The first course was a choice of salad or pasta soup which is what I choose. I was left with serving bowl to help myself if I wanted more which I did. The meal included wine or water I choose red wine. A fresh bottle was opened and left with me!

The second course was a choice of fish or steak (pork chop today). The chop came with boiled potatoes and french beans.

The pudding was a choose of yogurt or creme caramel 

I was so impressed with the Albergue generally. I did have a quick look at the dormitories on the first floor very clean.

Stayed for one night in a double room with a private bath. All was great with no issues and the staff was wonderful. Breakfast buffet was all we needed and made a sandwich for lunch. Restaurants are within seconds by walking. Thank you too the staff.
