First impression, through the rain, was of a rather dull building; the two lifts were slow and only two or three could use at a time with their luggage. But the view from my room quickly made up for it. The evening meals were tasty ad plentiful, served by various family members, most of whom had more than one job there! The bar area was small but a room off was cosy, drinks were sensibly priced - a large vodka and tonic was five euros. I was on a coach tour, you would otherwise need a car here, but we left feeling pleased with our short stay. The coach had to travel down to a roundabout to turn back, and as we passed the barman was there to wave us off!
