9 reviewsWe were looking for a very quiet peaceful break on a long journey though Spain and we found it in a very small village in the rural plains of Spain The boss greeted us by name on arrival and took us straight to our room. A small but lovely, very clean room with a balcony over the countryside. Travelled in November so delighted the heating was on - it was 1C overnight but 20 during the day. We had dinner at the hotel. No menu and offered "meat or fish". The meal was delicious; garlic soup, thin steak slices with saute potatoes, asparagus and salad, followed be fresh fruit accompanied with a bottle of local tempranillo Perfect nights sleep, awoken by birds at ready for simple breakfast. Fresh orange, toast and fab coffee Perfect peace - but be aware no local amenities and it is very quiet. We travelled with a dog and loved the open countryside and walking Be perfect for bird watchers, loads of birds of prey.

The ideal is to get to Medina de Rioseco and from there take the CL-612 regional road towards Villalpando, and after one mile take the VP-5505 road, from where you will reach Palazuelo de Vedija in just over 5 miles, the town where our hotel. |
