It was our 2nd stay at this family run hotel and it was every bit as good as the first time 5 years ago. We had a balcony with sea view, comfortable beds, ceiling fan (which was very welcome), and shower over the bath with plenty of hot water. Everywhere was kept spotlessly clean. The continental breakfast has been improved since our last stay. We especially liked the dark brown bread and ensaimadas that were offered every day. We had breakfast outside by the pool most mornings, until the wasps arrived. There is also a bar offering coffee, soft drinks and alcohol, which does an excellent, and potent, pomada. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the main square with plenty of restaurants and cafes or to the harbour. The owners, Joan (Juan) and Maria are very friendly and speak quite good English among other languages. It’s been rated as a 1 star hotel, perhaps because of a lack of lift and no evening meals, but we’d personally give it more stars and will definitely stay there again in the future.
