In 2022 I walked the Camino de Manzanal and stayed at Monterrey. Various things did, I found it well below average. Maybe it was due to being in a bad mood. This year, I walked the Camino de Manzanal again with toe friends and had to stay at Monterrey, even though we had booked Hotel Temple located further down the N-VI. But with this hotel having closed for the season, there was nothing left for us but Monterrey. And now, it was quite a different experience. The hotel is a ok *** hotel and with a very serviceminded receptionist, that even served breakfast for us, even though we were the only ones having breakfast. In every sense this time, our stay was a satisfying one.
