Agroturismo Maddiola

We stayed 10 days in apartment 5 at the Casa Rural operated by Maddiola (2 km up the road from the B&B). The location is unbelievable, full of natural beauty and gorgeous sunsets. Just up the hill from San Sebastian and Orio. A car is essential, but that's obvious if you look at the map. It's also right on the Compestela trail. The apartment (and house) is well equipped, the bed comfortable and the air conditioning effective. Compact but usable kitchen. Really nice place to stay. Privacy even with 6 other apartments also in the building. It is very suited to larger (adult) families or groups of friends who need both privacy and common space. The communal kitchen and terrace have room for large gatherings, but each can still go back to their own apartment. The best view is from the communal balcony. Lots of communal garden space (barbecue, trampoline..) The best part of the staff really is the attitude from the staff. Responsive to questions on WhatsApp, kind with suggestions, attentive to needs. The grounds are meticulously maintained. You feel personally welcomed, it's very nice. We also got great massages and used their (very good!) laundry service. Our vacation was a success in large part thanks to the Maddiola experience, can wholeheartedly recommend.
