Would give 0 stars if I could. After a quiet and pleasant stay the nightmare began. They stole €400 from us and refuse to give it back. We are so upset with the lies the company are trying to tell. Based upon other reviews they seem to have done the same to many people. I will never recommend this place to anyone and if you are considering stayIng here DON'T!

A company whose purpose is to scam toursits

I booked this apartment when I wasn't feeling well and so did not read any reviews. I paid the price. This company insist on a €400 deposit against damage. I have had to fight to get this deposit returned. During that period the communication was non-existent, they ignored my messages, made excuses when I called (at my expense) and failed to return the call when they promised to. Eventually I raised a complaint via Booking.com and a refund was made almost a month after check out. 

This company is either highly incompetent or, as I suspect, simply corrupt.

It's a scam. You will be asked to leave a 400 euro deposit that won't be returned. There are many people who have the same experience. Just search for MySpace Barcelona and see for yourself. Anyway,  The apartment itself is badly maintained. The upper floor has very low ceilings. There wasn't enough bedding for the number of guests we reserved for.

We rented the apartment on Rambla De Catalunia. The location is great. The house is pleasant. The flat is very, very run down. The original features are impressive (tiled floors, tall ceilings) but just about everything else is in need of repair. 

Door handles falling off, bath/shower leaky (you step out the shower and into a pool of water), evidence of leaks on walls not painted over, age-old conditioners that don't appear to be in working order. 

The apartment needs maintenance very badly. 

No instructions provided, so we had to fiddle with radiators to make them turn on. We tried calling the 'emergency number' to ask about turning the radiators on but noone picked up and noone returned our call. 

You have to go to the office to pick up keys, or pay a charge for someone to meet you at the flat at the start of your rental. 

Worst of all, they kept the deposit even beyond the 15 working days return period and I had to email 3 times threatening legal action before they gave the money back. 

Overall, it's ok if there is nothing else, but really do not recommend.

Former glory

DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY. 
The pool was green, we had no hot water, the electrics kept tripping! They claim it would sleep 10 people but 3 of us had to sleep on broken sofas. When we left they refused to give us out security deposit back of £355 because of “noise complaints” and the “mess we made” ABSOLUTE SCAM THEY HAVE ROBBED OUR MONEY. We left the property in clean condition and made no noise!! They will steal your deposit please do not stay here

Absolutely awful DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!

My friends and I booked to stay here for a hen do weekend. It was advertised to sleep 10, however one of the beds was a broken ‘sofa bed’ that consisted of a sofa and foot stool that pushed together. There was no hot water for the entire 4 days we were there and were all taking cold showers daily. The lights also kept tripping and going off every 15-20 minutes. We complained about this multiple times and nothing was ever done to fix it. There is a lovely outside area which you are not permitted to use after 10pm… At the end of our stay we tidied the apartment and left all rubbish bagged in the corner as there was one very small bin available, because of this they refused to give the deposit back. The location of the apartment is also quite far out and not close to many of the tourist hotspots, bars and nightclubs for the evening time. This apartment was not value for money and I wouldn’t stay here or recommend staying here.

DO NOT BOOK.

The appartments itself are acceptably clean, but completely worn down and broken. The promised rooftop pool was a disgusting green pond full of cigaret buts, windows were broken.

And also, like in the many other review they invented a reason why to keep the deposit.

Absolutely advise you to stay away!

Bad appartment plus deposti scam

Stayed from December 19th now January 22nd .no return of security deposit..very upsetting time with this lot..DONT BOOK WITH THEM!!!We are a couple in our 70’s.Never had an experience this bad in all our lives,booked for 10 days,left after six..grubby tired badly looked after..only Spanish tv in this day and age!
  Could go on but mainly no communication no care no nothing..read the reviews only good ones they must have written themselves!And then the final leaving gift..steal your security deposit with no reason whatsoever BEWARE!!!

Embarrassing

It was a pleasure to stay in the apartment. Location was great, right in the center. Friendly and helpful staff. Karina and Agustin was always on the line if we had questions. 
Over all 10/10. I don’t understand why people are complaining because i didn’t meet any issue:)

Wonderful time

However, no one made official delivery and receipt of it, despite this anomaly, we made a series of observations on the floor from the very first moment.... my space Barcelona SLU did not respond to requests that were repeatedly made via Wapp and verbally.Today after more than two (2) months of having left the floor and not returning the bail, every day they tell us something different, that there is a receipt missing, that they already have a message, that their phone does not return another type of currency and goes to the franchisee and their bank, that tomorrow they claim, that they are not... that there are no legal practices that are being implemented through the social networks, that they have not even returned the bond to us, that they offer a better way to return the money to their customers.
