We went to this establishment 14 months ago. On the spot, the room was dirty and it was directly connected to the next room, and there were no windows. On the ad, there was a balcony on the street. We asked for the refund, but it was very difficult to recover our money (so the owner was not available). Finally, we got a refund after 2 hours of negotiation. 14 months later, we were debited again on our credit card for 70 euros.

Arnack on the credit card

I booked the hotel in 2017, but cancelled it for free because it hadn't promised me that. Nevertheless, the hotel booked money from me, which I had to reimburse through booking. Two months ago (2019) the hotel just booked 50 euros from my credit card even though they have no more authorization!!!!! I had to lock the credit card. I tried to call the hotel several times, but nobody can reach me!!

Despite free cancellation, money is withdrawn

Never book here. I have made a reservation last year and canceld it on time without any fees. The hostal still debit the full amount from my account. Unfortunately I realised it too late. And this year they did the same again without any reservation or booking. In total this are 280€. I contacted them but no reply!

Debit twice without booking

After seeing a warning that there might be no one there after 7pm, we emailed the establishment to warn that we would be arriving after 8:30pm and we got a reply that we would be expected. When we arrived at 9:00pm: nobody! No one answers the phone either. A couple from New Zealand joined us, in the same case!

Institution not serious

Pros 
Right in the heart of the city centre ! This place is a walking distance to almost everything.

Friendly staff - seems managed by two ladies only.

A little hard to locate. Very minimal signage.
No elevator for luggage transportation.

Overall great place for travel on a budget however power cut at some point and it seems the hotel staff does not live in  the building so was not aware till much later to restore it. 


Cheerful and cheap 

The hotel is very nice despite the fact that no one spoke English but we did manage and everything went well. the rooms are very clean and the sanitation room is poorly marked and the reception must be absolutely called to come in the first time.... but the location is perfect soundproofing is not top but it's not bad for an express visit to Barcelona for a couple or a small group of travelers who prefer to spend their money on other things than a place or sleep it's the ideal hotel for travelers who want a little more comfort go your way and pay twice the price (minimum), so this hotel is obviously not offering the services but it offers a 3⁄4 or 5/5 and your profile is obviously only subjective.

A very good hotel on a small budget

I booked a trip several months ahead on booking.com to stay here but noticed the full amount had been charged so I immediately cancelled.  That was a month ago and despite contacting this property almost daily since then my money hasn't been refunded.  Booking.com have confirmed there should be no charge and have also contacted the property. I spoke to Amanda and she claimed she would immediately refund my money but this was a lie.  Any business that behaves like this should not get your custom. Avoid

Complete rip off

The list below will seem impossible but it's experience! - The reception is closed at 7pm - The toilets and showers are common and not clean - The rooms are dirty - No TV - Intermittent Internet - Home: What welcome???? - Very noisy street: deliveries from 7am; Drunks and screams at night,... - The only advantage: 200m from the Rambla - Especially do not book on the site because the prices multiply by 2

What a terrible thing: Don 't book!

We were surprised: for this price (220€ for 3 for 2 nights) we expected low-quality services. Very good quality/price ratio: clean room, nice bed, bright room, fan, clean towels every day, room and bathroom and common toilet very clean. Very good welcome, the hotel is very well located. The room did not give on the passing street so little noise.

Excellent value for money

It's a beautiful place to see!!!! Very satisfying and especially old!! 😊 I liked it so much! :)! It's not bad to admire. You'll see that you won't be disappointed if you go visit it! I recommend it.
