We loved our stay at Icon overall. The property is stunning, clean, quiet, very well air conditioned regardless the extreme heat conditions outside. Incredibly friendly staff that make you feel welcome and make this property even more enjoyable! We stayed in a sea view room with a balcony, which was a perfect size for us. The hotel is situated on a breathtaking cliff with a stunning view all around, has a super clean pool, amazing lounge areas all around it and a dining area with a view that cannot compare. It’s a perfect getaway spot for couples of all ages. A couple of things we were disappointed in were the fact that there are no loungers on the beach, and you literally have to share the beach with hundreds of travelers from everywhere, since it’s a public beach. Another thing we wished that there were better food options at the hotel restaurant and bar, overall the food was fresh and healthy, but we are avid travelers who usually travel for far destinations for exceptional food experiences and we didn’t feel that the hotel food was it. But overall, this is an absolutely wonderful hotel with incredible staff! The manager Carlos is a wonderful human who made us feel at home, as well Isa at the front desk. Highly recommend, but do some planning in advance.
