Cortijo el Pajaron

This is a wonderful place in the midst of nature yet very near of one of the the most spectacular places in Andalucía: Ronda and Setenil de las Bodegas. El Pajarón is the perfect example of a "cortijo" which is a typical construction rural architecture and farming unit of Southern Spain. It consists of a mansion surrounded by extensive farmland and olive groves. Ronda is one ofd the most impressive sites of Spain. Situated on breathtaking gorges that remind you of the Grand Canyon it is a very well preserved city that also transposes you into another century. It is part of Spanish Cultural Heritage. Setenil de las Bodegas is a small village built under a rock and part of tourist route of white villages. El Pajarón is run by a young people who are extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfasts are great. It is a very nice place in the countryside from where you can hear the music of silence and see the picturesque olive groves on hills that surround the place. The mansion has very ample rooms.
