Playa San Cristobal

i liked the breakfast, my sister, who does not drink coffee thought less of it. i appreciated they asked if you wanted '1/2' portion of 'toast' and 'w/cheese & tomato' or 'just cheese' (when i saw that this was indeed a baguette 'sandwich') as indeed, a full sandwich was QUITE generous. the view from our breakfast table was worth the rather long walk from the city bus station the afternoon before. we were also, it seems, fairly near the pretty antique back streets of Almunecar AND a lovely stroll along the beach at night provided numerous restaurant options. • Fellow at front desk was rather clumsy, taking a long time to find booking, almost forgetting to return my sister's passport, taking additional time, seemingly, to locate a room for us. The front desk was never 'manned', i'm thinking, after our stay, that the restaurant staff 'doubled' as front desk assistance, perhaps? We'd spoken of leaving our bags here while we met w/ Real Estate persons but would have been hard pressed to feel comfortable doing so, what w/ the desk area being very poorly supervised. We also were awoken from a late afternoon nap we both DEARLY needed with loud rapping on the door. When we determined someone was indeed knocking OUR door (as well as all others in the hallway) we found it was a woman delivering towels and pillowcases. Since other guests have complained about this, perhaps hotel should stock enough linens to replace once w/o the need to launder the only set kept in inventory.
