Hotel Louis

Highly recommend this hotel. We took a room at the last minute, arriving unexpectedly. The manager was very helpful, and staff extremely friendly throughout our stay. The location in West Seoul, a short taxi ride from the airport and only a 1 minute walk to both the intercity bus station and the metro station, was among many shops and cafes and street stalls, a "happening" place, alive, bustling. The hotel itself is beautifully appointed- comfortable large bed, excellent aircon, big TV with satellite Tele, good wifi, simple breakfast (thrown in for free), big tub in the bathroom, great shower, toilet with all the high tech buttons and heated seat (!), PC, and lovely shampoos, etc. really I would have paid much more than the $50 for this modern, super clean, functional, friendly place. It was very quiet overnight as well. The fact that it is in west Seoul, away from the touristy locales, is not really any sort of problem in Seoul, because the metro is just so fast and accessible you can sleep anywhere and still be only a cheap and fast train ride away from any sights. So if you are wondering about this hotel, just take it! There was no downside that we could see.
