Yellow Submarine Guesthouse

It's about a 10-15 min walk to Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak. But since I drove, I just got into my car and drove there anyways. Haha. At the end of the day, you get what you pay for. It was relatively cheap and since I made my bookings fairly late, this was my best option at the time. The place is not too bad. It's a standalone apartment complex with some parking spots for guests. Has a lift. Take note that they DO NOT have a 24 hour service - you can only check in after 3pm til maybe 10pm? Check out by 10am I don't know what time they're around til... But I remember... checking in by around 6pm and when I went out for dinner at 8pm, nobody was at the reception. Reception is located in a small container-like building away from the main apartment complex. That's also the mini kitchen where you can make your own breakfast - Rice, bread, jams and instant noodles are provided. Can't remember what else they had but it wasn't much. Breakfast is DIY. It didn't look so appealing to me, so I ate out. Check-in was uneventful, they just gave me a pincode, and all I had to do was key in the pincode. No keys needed. I booked a double room. The room was adequate. Bed was a little hard. Room had a fridge and washing machine. No soap powder tho. So bring your own if you intend to do laundry. Hot water was from a boiler. It has a kitchenette but the sink wasn't working. Wifi was provided, so-so. All in all, was ok for the price considering it was a last minute booking. Good location to climb to Seongsan Peak.
