Gudeok Guesthouse

We had bunk bed for two, although it is a guesthouse but you have everything you need. They have hot water, Television, Internet access, kitchen. This type of guest house will make you experienced the way local lived. At Winter time could be challenging but as the location is on the south part of Jeju, the snow would not be that much like on the north part. The place is near a harbour by the way. Lots of restaurant near by specially local or traditional cuisine. If you love seafood and traditional Korean this is the right place for you. 10 or 15 minutes more less to the traditional marker Seogwipo Olle (I hope I got spell it right). and also beautiful waterfall Cheonjeon. And I imagine it will be much more beautiful in summer or spring. The owner and the staff are super friendly, I supposed it run by the family. Oh ya, if you don't mind learn some Korean words when to ask direction, order meal or shopping. The local are very understand and would like to help. But don't get mad if the answer with their language. Overall it was fun in Jeju, I would recommend a rental car/taxi jumboboxtaxi jeju. They are pretty good to facilitate you with transport. Public bus also available but you need to learn it well as it might not wise enough if you do not speak Korean.
