Budapest Inn

I had a great 2-day stay at Budapest Inn in Jeju thanks to the warm hospitality of hosts Istvan and Mikyung. From the immaculately clean rooms to the beautifully maintained lawn outside, it is easy to see the pride the owners take in their pension. A bit removed distance-wise from other pensions and hotels, Budapest Inn is ideal for people who wish to avoid the ubiquitous crowds and noise in other parts of the island. In fact, it would be the perfect retreat at which to write a book. A short walk from Songaksan, perfect for a stroll and home to not a few of Jeju's wild horses, as well as one of Jeju's black volcanic beaches, Budapest Inn is also not far from a piece of Jeju history: history buffs will appreciate seeing bunkers which hid Japanese zeros during the latter years of World War 2 in a field a short 2-minute drive away. I'd return in any season of the year. Thanks again!
