It was only a 1-night stay so we didn’t need anything extravagant and weren’t expecting much, so when the rooms smelled slightly of cigarettes and the sinks leaks and the doors were finicky - it was fine. What was awful was the front desk man who was incredibly rude to our group. At check-in, he refused to look at my I.D to find my reservation, he instead wanted my visually challenged self to squint through the glass as he annoyedly scrolled through his calendar to find my name. Afterwards, he threw the keys down on the counter and left. In the morning he refused to help our group call taxis (we don’t have a Korean phone numbers) and disgruntledly told us to walk to the airport bc it was right there (2.5kms??). It was 6A.M. and we had luggage. Jeju was wonderful and he really dampened our experience at the end.

Very convenient stay at this hotel.The room was very clean, and tidy. Facilities are great. The little bemol might be the lack of drawers and closet to store clothes.But I highly recommand this hotel.

Perfect stay at Champion's hotel

As we travelled in groups the check in was smooth. Our room is on the 3rd floor. Basic facilities. Basic breakfast. Room is quite spacious and bed is so comfy after a long day outside. Winter doesn't feel like a problem when in room.

Location ok but the staff there should be more responsive to guests as counter always no staff attending.

The rooms and everything else we saw was all clean. Receptionist was a little absent at times, but would come running after a while when we made some noise.

Material and color choices in this place is … strange. It's just nor stylish nor cozy nor anything else you would expect from a hotel. Felt like "designed" at random to fit in a 1950s-office-as-a-hotel movie(?) Hard to describe. And the "quality control" stickers were still attached to most wall and ceiling panels (→What builders would leave that there? I'm confused). 

Food: read the description thoroughly: The included breakfast "buffet" actually means you can have as many loaves of white bread and as many eggs you want. Nothing else except water(+tea/coffee maybe). Ah, and a soup. See the attached photo of a notice written by management itself: "Breakfast is simply toast, soup and egg fried and a few other things" :)

If you're not a muslim, you might be a bit puzzled by the need for putting the word Qiblat and an arrow pointing towards that, painted/fixed in the ceiling of your rented room. I have not seen that in any other hotel in Korea (or elsewhere).

Internet was supposed to be free; it kind of was, but didn't work for more than aprox 20 seconds at a time. Seemingly limited to one device at a time(?) Jeju island has got free wifi at many public places though -- but you will need to be outside the hotel for that to work, can't use it from the room. Same behaviour on all SSIDs. Checking the "No wifi" box for this reason.

Clean and straight forward, not-so-cool hotel

(한국어 후기는 아래에...)Kind, cheap and pleasant!There are very good pharmacy(opens midnight), good restaurant ("24hours noodle house"-24시 국수회관), and good CVS within 100 meters. In particular, "24-hour noodle house" provides Jeju's traditional & delicious pork&sea-weeds soup(몸국), and pork or anchovy soup noodles for only 5~6 US$!!The breakfast provided by the hotel is free but don't expect much. It's just a free meal.And this hotel is close to the airport. Dongmun Market, the largest traditional market in Jeju, and the government office where Jeju governor ruled Jeju until 19th century are within 1km.매우 싸고 깨끗하고 친절합니다.공항에서 가깝고, 동문시장, 제주목 관아 등이 1~2km 이내라 관광에 아주 좋습니다. 특히 좋은게 바로 옆에 밤 12시까지 하는 큰 약국, 큰 CU 편의점, 24시 국수회관 등이 100m 거리 이내에 있습니다.24시 국수회관에서는 제주의 토속 음식인 몸국, 고기국수 등을 겨우 6000원에 팝니다. 돔베고기 등도 저렴해요. 호텔에서 아쉬운 점은 다른 방 소리가 들린다는 겁니다. 아침 식사는 공짜지만 거의 기대 않는게 좋습니다. 그냥 공짜라는데 의미가 있는 수준....결론적으로, 가격 생각하면 정말 추천할만한 호텔입니다.

A pleasant stay with some friends. It has an okay location, but still quite a walk to the center of the city. The staff did not speak a lot of English, but tried to help all they could.

Approximate 15-20 minutes drive frm Airport.. Choose by many Muslim tourist frm Malaysia. Served Continental Bfast, same menu during our 5 days staying there. Provide Microwave and Hot & Cold water dispenser at each Flr.. 7Eleven cross the road

Nice Simple Comfortable

Nice expectations about Champion Hotel were playing on my mind when I landed in Jeju International Airport. However, I was sort of _ at a lost since there was no friendly and clear instructions from the hotel how to reach the place. An impatient response to my last phone call was .... "no English" .... A staff from the airport information counter directed me to take bus number 365 and get off at Seomun traditional market stop. From there, it took me a long time to find 131, Namseong-ro street after asking help from some people. Finally, I reached Champion Hotel; and it was a relief to meet the owner who speaks English. Champion Hotel is a good place to stay transiently, but for me this property is not on a par with a homely guesthouse. A medium-sized double room with window was allotted to me. It was designed in a very basic arrangement; but the necessary items like fridge, hair dryer and kettle were provided. The bathroom was clean and with good water pressure. Good to mention that bottled drinking water was provided. The inclusive buffet breakfast consisted of soup, bread, butter, sunny side up egg and veggie salad. Hot coffee was available from the coffee dispenser machine. What I appreciated most was the effort of the hotel owner to arrange the Jeju city tour for two Indonesian ladies who suggested me to join them; and we had to divide the price of the tour among us three, consequently making it affordable. It was an unforgettable city and beyond the suburban areas tour. Big thanks to the owner and manager of Champion Hotel.
