I had troubles making my connecting flight and needed a place close to the airport. This hotel was inexpensive and close. I made the reservation online with an hours notice. 

The gentleman at the reception spoke no English. But he was very nice and escorted me to my room. He showed me how everything worked and showed me the internet password. In the morning he called to tell me my ride was there. 

The rooms are a little old fashioned. However, the bed was good quality and the linens were quality. This was my bed nights sleep in two weeks. 

If you just need an inexpensive place to stay, this is it. 



Absolutely a comfortable Bed!

I chose this hotel at the last minute as I had a long layover in Seoul and wanted somewhere to spend the night other than the airport.  There was a shuttle that took my wife, daughter and I to our room and back to the airport in the morning, which worked out really well.  The staff was kind and helpful and the room was clean.  Breakfast was free, and it was alright.  It included eggs, ham, salad and toast.  There were some juice options as well.  

The hotel is located near a couple of small stores, such as 7-11 and a couple other small convenience stores.  There is also a cafe close by, but with high prices.  Overall it was a good enough place to stay for a night.  There's not too much to do in the town and I would probably stay closer to Seoul if I was in the area again.  I took advantage of the free airport tour and this hotel was close enough so that I could do that and have a nice place to stay for the night.  

Bathrooms were good, as was the shower.  Hot water.  The hotel has parking below and is located on a main street in the small town.

A Very Interesting Hotel Close to the Airport

As I entered the dimly lit and cold lobby of the Cherbourg Hotel last night, I felt as if I could be in North Korea and thought, “I’ve made a mistake.”  Can’t always trust customer ratings I suppose because I wouldn’t consider this place even average.  The ice cold lobby was definitely a first for me as a seasoned traveler. 

The comfort of the bed is always a priority when I rate hotels and this bed felt harder than a rock. 

The room was very outdated with old furniture that one might pick up at a flea market. 

I booked an ocean view room. I’m attaching a photo of the view from my window. Now, granted, I think I see some water in distance. But calling this an ocean view room is nothing but a flat out lie. 

I am trying to give some credit for value since I only paid $40 for the one night. That included the free shuttle to/from the airport and breakfast. But, I can’t because they’re other inexpensive establishments in the area around ICN that are much better and have access to restaurants and such. I know because I’ve stayed in them. Thought I would give this one a try - something that won’t happen again.  The $40 spent was not worth it to me. 

Trying to sleep on the bed was difficult enough. But, the teenage Korean girls down the hall who apparently was having some sort of slumber party all night long didn’t help either. 

Attaching a photo of the breakfast. It’s one plate of food only although there is bread you can toast yourself. Nothing good to say about that experience either. 

Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere. 



Glad This Was One Night Only

Free airport pickup & drop-off; call the hotel on arrival at the airport to arrange. They met us at 3rd floor, exit 7 in a mini-van marked with the hotel name. It's about a 15~20 minute ride. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful; English fluency was basic but sufficient. The hotel is only a 5 minute walk from Eurwangni beach, which was picturesque at sunset and has many cafes and barbecue restaurants overlooking it. We enjoyed a good meal there.
Room was large, beds were comfortable.
As another reviewer has mentioned, breakfast starts at 7am, so you might miss it if your flight is early. However, they scheduled an extra airport trip to allow us to get a quick breakfast but still leave before the regularly scheduled 8am departure. Incheon airport security and immigration were very quick; if you are in transit and already have your boarding passes, an hour before flight time would likely be sufficient.

Inexpensive hotel near Incheon Airport & beach

This place is comfy, clean, and safe. The room had a nice view and was perfect for the night before my early flight. The airport shuttle is FREE and service is great!! A great value! I will be coming back!

Worth It!

I stayed here overnight for an early morning flight out of Incheon.  The room was clean and very reasonably priced.  I was a little surprised by the actual distance from the airport, though.  I took a taxi from the airport to the hotel for around 10,000 won.  That's not overly expensive, but the price tag surprised me a bit for a property that lists the airport as it's location on Agoda.  The free shuttle service to the airport the next morning made up for any questions the night before, though.  Free breakfast was included with my stay, but the service didn't start until 7am.  My flight time kept me from taking advantage of the offer.  Overall, this was a nice hotel and decent location for the price.  I would recommend it if you have a long layover or early flight.

Clean hotel, quick service

This was one nights stopover to Sydney. I arrived at the hotel by taxi. When I entered to the hotel, It was very cold same as outside. They gave me single room as I booked. The room also terrible cold. I called the reception. They change the room by better warm room with two beds. It was quite challenging hotel

We were allocated this hotel, by Asiana Airlines due to a 17hour overnight stopover, while transiting between planes.

As the staff were so very pleasant and obviously tried very hard I would love to give this establishment an excellent report …. but….. I must be honest and say that the allocation of The Cherbourg Hotel - an Incheon airport ‘tourist’ hotel - did nothing to enhance our view of Asiana Airlines - who had delayed our holiday plans by cancelling their (one-per-day) flight from Sydney, the day before, after having us wait in the plane, on the tarmac, for 3 hours - and were then 2½ hours late arriving with our rescheduled flight, the following day!

We were not expecting 5star but we have heard of other passengers, from other flights, staying at The Grand Hyatt, and, passing the Hyatt, en-route to The Cherbourg, it did look to be a better option.
However while The Cherbourg was somewhat out-dated (to say the least), and our photos will tell the story (just look at the AC machine in the bedroom!) the staff really were quite amazing - including with their efforts on the language barrier.

The hotel was certainly v-e-r-y clean, I would not say ‘spotless’, and the manger worked round our plans to get back to the airport before 7 the next morning.  At first he had said that breakfast would be served at 8am (on the dot) then, with our request, made a special, successful, effort for 2 hours earlier.  Additionally at just before 6am, with no wake-up call arranged, we received a phone call (there was a phone in the room) to say that breakfast was ready.
There were no breakfast choices given to us, but it was very early.  We were just served-up with their version of an ‘American’ - two fried eggs with fries, tiny sausages and garnish (not our usual choice - but hot, tasty and fresh) plus toast, juice and tea.  We were quite happy.

Clearly, in it’s day, this hotel was a luxurious option.  Our room (No. 702 on the 7th floor) was generous in size with two double beds - which were very comfortable, but with hard pillows - and a seating area, large widescreen TV and a fridge.  The bath appeared to double as a Jacuzzi - we did not have time to try it out.  There was an old fashioned shower head which rose out from the side of the bath, but there was no curtain so it could only be used hand-held, or water would have flooded the floor!  The colour scheme was 'old' black and white, obviously ‘of it’s time’ but the white plastic lid on the black solid WC was detatched on one side. 

Would we stay again?  Well, with no experience of other South Korean hotels - to know what standards to expect or compare - for its efforts - rather then it’s good looks - we probably would - for another (short) stay - provided the price was reflective of the offering.
