Incheon Pai Hotel

Pi Hotel is like a myth. I saw a Youtube video describing it as "likely the best hotel in the world". The reservation form on their website was not working, so I remember booking through Agoda website. Let's talk first about the bad thing : Pi Hotel is really not well located. It's absolutely not convenient if you want to visit Seoul and it's still far from Incheon airport (45mn taxi drive). Even the taxi driver struggled to find it on his GPS. The hotel is located in some kind of red-light district, with many clubs where (as foreigner) there is nothing to do. You walk in the reception desk, passing by some already drunk dude, accompagnied by a too-good-looking girl for him (i'm not judging). Very friendly staff. When I enter my room, I can't really believe what i'm seeing. A huge room, splitted in 2 parts : bedroom and bathroom. The "bathroom" has a huge shower with Dove products and an ovale bathtub, for every bathing fantasy you could have. There is also a TV embedded in a mirror so you can watch it from the bathtub ! The "bedroom" has a big king size bed, a huge flat TV screen and a control monitor next to your bed. Too bad everything was written in Korean - I think I couldn't enjoy everything what was possible to do. There was also a laptop (!!) with internet access, available for use that was waiting for me. I slept very well, except at 3am I've been waked by some feminine pleasure sounds, which confirmed to me what kind of place it was : a high-class hotel meant for instant-made couples to stay some hours or the night. The only thing that was disappointing is the fact that I was alone there! No breakfast provided (as I remember), but by walking distance, you can find a few coffee shops. Keep in mind that you're not in Seoul ! Wrap-up : a bizarre but great experience, that would better be enjoyed as a couple, but for a really cheap price. I paid for the night ~30€. So if you want to have a last memorable night before leaving Seoul area, you can stop by Hotel Pi.
